Information for visitors

Who are we?

Trinity consists of a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds. Whoever you are, you are assured a very warm welcome.

When to arrive:

If it is your first visit, then it is probably best to turn up around 10.15am or 6:15pm. If you are driving, then you will be pleased to know that there is free parking available down the side of the Church. For directions, please see the map and directions page. On your arrival, you will be greeted on the door by our welcome team who will give you some information about the Church and notices of forthcoming events.

What to wear:

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal Church and accept people as they are.

What to expect:

We like to think that we are a friendly bunch of ordinary people; if there is anything you do not understand or need assistance with, then please do not hesitate to ask. We start our Sunday meetings at 10.30am and 6.30pm with a few minutes of welcome and introduction from our Pastor. Then the programme varies, but usually includes a time of singing, video presentations, solo songs, active illustrations, a time for sharing experiences of how God has been working in our lives, visual and audio Bible readings and prayer. In the mornings at around 10.45am, the young children go to Energize and Energize Plus, held in the rear hall.

This is followed by a serious talk from the Bible which is relevant and meaningful to our modern lives and our deepest needs, re-enforced where appropriate using PowerPoint, Internet and DVD technology as well as live interactive illustrations.

We finish our morning meetings around 11:45am, with tea and coffee.

Our aim is that if you are just looking into Christianity for the first time you will discover what life really is all about! Or if you have been a Christian for many years, we trust you will be encouraged, inspired, challenged even, and drawn ever closer to God Himself.

We are always keen on getting to know our visitors better, for the best of reasons, and are happy to invite individuals or families back to our homes for Sunday lunch.

Is Church just on Sundays?

No, there is plenty happening during the week: toddler group, youth group, Trinity fun nights and prayer and interactive Bible study meetings. See the News & Events page for more information.

Crèche facilities

We run a well-supervised crèche (Young Explorerers) for the little ones, so feel free to leave children in safe hands while you enjoy the service.

For those with disabilities

We are an inclusive Church. Our resources, however, are limited, so we respond actively to needs as and when they arise. If you wish to discuss your specific needs with us, please do not hesitate to contact us. Sign language can be provided with advance notice and we have an induction loop for the hearing impaired. We enjoy the friendship and participation of those with learning difficulties and their carers.
