Trinity Baptist Church Logo What's life about
“Madness is great! We all make loads of new friends with people from other youth clubs, and do loads of cool activities including, initiative games, archery, zip wire, ice skating, tenpin bowling, paint-balling, rock climbing and mountain biking. Last year, I was really challenged by the evening talks and have since become a Christian.”

Young People

Youth Group

This club caters for teenagers from 13 to 18 and is held on Monday evenings from 8.15pm to 9.30pm (during Homewood School term times).  Free-time activities include: pool, table tennis, foosball, playstations & dancemat.  Tuck is available to buy throughout the evening.  An informal discussion on a Biblical or moral issue is held whilst helping ourselves to pizza, toast or muffins and this is sometimes followed by an organised game or quiz.  Occasional ‘wildcard’ events see a different type of evening – a BBQ, an outing, a quiz or games night, or simply just a social evening.

New members are welcome – just come along.  A registration card will be given to you so that we have contact details etc.

Madness

An annual residential weekend for teenagers who have regularly attended our Church or Energize Plus and specifically invited friends. We join up with another youth group from Chatham for a weekend of activities (e.g. rafting, archery, ice skating, treasure trail, paintballing, swimming) and enjoy a meal out, a picnic and a BBQ. Each day we have a time when we listen to a talk on a theme taken from the Bible and have a time of discussion, hear someone tell us about their real life experiences and join in with some songs that we sing at Trinity. On the Sunday morning we join in with Trinity for the main morning meeting at 10.30 and this is followed by a traditional Sunday Roast. The weekend involves early starts and very late nights – plenty of rest is needed after the weekend!
